Pricing for Connext Satellite Services — Core Services
Revision C, Effective: October 18, 2013
Connext Satellite Services may include one or more of the following, depending upon equipage and
aircraft level approvals.
- Voice
- Text Messaging (SMS)
- Worldwide Weather
- Position Reporting
All Pricing is in US Dollars ($) and is inclusive of the following:
- Calling from the public switched telephone network by direct dialing the Iridium terminal telephone number from countries which support the Iridium International dial code (8816);
- Toll-free dial to reach Garmin's Customer Response Center; and Voice mail.
Terms of Service:
- Initial programming and issuance of new
SIM cards and replacement of lost, stolen or damaged SIM cards will be subject
to a fee of $50.00 per card plus shipping
- Partial minutes are charged at applicable
per minute rate.
- Outgoing calls to any phone numbers
offered by satellite providers other than Iridium are subject to surcharge of
$10.00 per minute in addition to the charges identified for other minutes.
- Monthly subscription charges are
invoiced one month in advance. The first invoice will include pro-rated monthly
subscription charges for the first month and monthly subscription charges for
the following month.
- Only Garmin Transceiver units may be
used with the Services.
- Garmin will only sell Equipment and the
Services in territories where appropriate licensing is in place for such sales.

For the Worldwide Weather Plus Plan and
Worldwide Weather Select Plan, additional requests are billed as follows:
- Plus Plan: $10.00/request
- Select Plan: $7.00/request
Notes concerning Monthly Subscriptions:
- Monthly subscription charges applicable to each GSR 56 transceiver.
- Monthly subscription charges are invoiced one month in advance.
- Prices above are subject to modification based on the class of aircraft in which the system is installed.
- The monthly subscription fee for position reporting will be waived for any customer that subscribes to a Connext weather service.
- Customers who subscribe to the bundled weather plans service in the midst of the monthly billing will have their monthly subscription cost and number of requests pro-rated for the remainder of the month.
