Alistair Brownlee

Garmin is a proud sponsor and official kit supplier to World Champion triathlete Alistair Brownlee. Alistair uses our GPS technology when training on the bike, in the pool and on the run and completed a hat-trick of world titles in 2009 by adding the senior crown to his 2006 junior and 2008 U23 victories. Brownlee trains with the Edge bike computer and Forerunner 310XT GPS multi-sports watch and is focused on London 2012, where he hopes to build on his 2008 Olympic debut, finishing 12th and the highest-ranking British competitor.

Garmin has been a sponsor and official kit supplier to World Champion triathlete Tim Don since 2006. Tim has competed in three Olympics including the sport’s first Games appearance in Sydney 2000, and relies on Garmin GPS technology for training and motivation while running and cycling. The Edge 705 bike computer helps to tailor his training courses to competition conditions around the world. Hollie Avil

Garmin is proud to be a sponsor and official kit supplier to U23 World Champion triathlete Hollie Avil. Hollie uses Garmin GPS technology to help her train on the bike, in the pool and on the run, with the Forerunner 310XT motivating her through detailed endurance sessions even when switching between sports. Junior World Champion in 2007, Avil now has her eye on the senior title and the 2012 London Olympic Games and uses her Forerunner sports watch and Edge bike computer to log training data for her coach to use.

Garmin kit-sponsored Jonathan Brownlee is the reigning ETU European Junior Triathlon Champion and British Duathlon Junior Champion. Following hot on the heels of his elder brother; Garmin-sponsored World Champion triathlete Alistair; Jonathan has been steadily climbing the ranks of the senior circuit since his 2008 ITU Triathlon World Cup debut. A member of the British Olympic Association�s �Ambition 2012� development programme, Jonny trains with Garmin sports GPS including the multi-sport Forerunner 310XT personal trainer and Edge 705 bike computer to measure his progress and performance.

Bournemouth Athletics Club

This South Coast athletics club is a pioneer of our Run Club training academy. Providing training and competition at all levels in track and field, cross-country and road running, Bournemouth AC challenges its members to log their training sessions with their Garmin Forerunner sports watches and save, store and share their data on Garmin Connect. Members can then see where they rank in the club, track their improvement and compete against each other.

Team Garmin-Transitions is a 27-man cycling squad of professional riders from eight countries around the world. Julien Absalon

As sponsor and official kit supplier to French cross-country mountain biker Julien Absalon, the Garmin Edge 705 bike computer is really put through its paces. The 17-times World Cup winner and four-times Mountain Bike world champion trains and competes with the Edge on his Orbea bike for GPS positioning, maps, distance, gradient and wireless speed, cadence, heart rate and power. Absalon is focusing on taking his third Olympic title at London 2012 and plans a future career in endurance cycling.

Matthew Page

Pro mountain biker, UK Solo National Champion and European Singlespeed titleholder Matthew Page trains with a Garmin Edge 705 GPS bike computer. Combining MTB marathon events with expert-level XC racing, Page has racked up an impressive tally of endurance and marathon racing titles including Mountain Mayhem, Dusk �til Dawn and Bontager. With his sights trained on this year�s World Solo Championships in October, Page is having a winning 2010 season, scooping victories including the National Championship title.

Graham Bell

Former Olympic skier-turned BBC winter sports commentator Graham Bell is a Garmin Snow Club Ambassador. Graham has held the British Ski Championship title eight times over, has represented the country at five Winter Olympic Games and is now International Performance Director for The Ski and Snowboard Federation and Patron of The British Ski Association. Since retiring from competitive skiing, Graham has become a broadcasting authority on the slopes, fronting coverage of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics and has developed a passion for a more fair-weather sport - competitive triathlons.

Ed Leigh

Garmin Snow Club Ambassador and extreme sports fan Ed Leigh is a presenter, snowboarder and winter sports commentator. Formerly a professional snowboarder and winter sports journalist, Ed was part of the BBC’s broadcasting team for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics and has fronted various freesports programmes, fuelling his passion for high-adrenalin activity. Recent feats have included competing in the notoriously gruelling King of the Hill, the world’s premier extreme downhill challenge in Alaska and winning the first ever British indoor snowboarding championships.

Garmin Hamble Winter Series

The 2009 Garmin Hamble Winter Series marked our fifth year backing the world-famous Central Solent sailing challenge. Running across nine weeks in October and November every year, the event pitches yachts and sportsboats of 25 to 55ft against each other in a series of races “round the cans”. The Winter Series attracts competitors of all ranks; from enthusiastic amateurs to professional teams; and coincides with the Hamble Big Boat Series, the Autumn Championships and the “Super-Sport” class.

Dee Cafarri

Dee Caffari is the first woman to have sailed single-handed and non-stop around the world in both directions. In 2006 Dee became the first woman to sail solo, non stop, around the world against the prevailing winds and currents and was awarded an MBE in recognition of her achievement. More recently Dee competed in the 2008/9 Vendée Globe – a gruelling race around the world, non-stop and alone - crossing the finish line in 6th place out of an original fleet of 30 competitors.
